"Healing begins when individuals and couples feel truly seen and safe. Therapy offers a space where pain can be named and new possibilities for connection can emerge. My goal is to help you, and your loved ones build the trust and emotional safety needed to thrive together."

My Approach

I believe healing begins when you feel seen, safe, and understood. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, creating a space where you can explore your story without judgment. I integrate several evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, CBT, and narrative therapy, to tailor support to your unique needs.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma, as well as couples facing infidelity, trust breakdown, or ongoing conflict. I also offer family therapy to help strengthen bonds and improve communication.

As someone with lived experience of adjusting to new environments and systems, I understand the complexity of cultural adaptation and the emotional toll of major life changes. Many of my clients come from diverse backgrounds and faith communities, seeking therapy that respects their values and lived realities.

Professional Background

I began my professional journey as a marriage coach and later pursued a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology to deepen my clinical training and expand my work with individuals, couples, and families. I also bring expertise in working with older adults through my background in social service work with a focus on gerontology. As an immigrant, I understand the challenges of adapting to a new culture and navigating life transitions, and I am passionate about supporting people from diverse backgrounds, including people of colour and faith-based communities.

Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP): Gained extensive training and practice experience in evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Practicum at Linck Child, Youth and Family Supports: Provided counselling services to children and youth experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioural challenges.

A Little About Me

Outside of my work as a therapist, I am passionate about family, connection, and lifelong learning. I am married and a proud mother of two adult sons, which gives me a personal appreciation of the ups and downs that come with relationships and parenting.

I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, and discovering good food along the way. Having built my life across more than one country, I understand the beauty and challenges of adapting to new places and cultures. I also love true crime stories and value quiet moments of reflection.

My faith and values shape the way I approach life with compassion, honesty, and hope. At the heart of it all, I believe people are wired for connection, and it is my joy to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they work toward healing and deeper relationships.
